Cell service was really good on AT&T, so-so on Verizon. There are some local convenances but are a bit too far and not stocked fully. For any serious provisioning you'll have to drive several miles to the outskirts of Albany for Walmart, Tractor Supply, Ace etc. If you want to get away from it all this is a fairly decent effort. The entrance drive is on an incline and on an angle to the highway. NY Route 43 runs below but is not really that noticeable. There is cable available but only wired at the seasonal sites. Sewer/water all ok, but some sites are a tiny bit too close. Very few all-amp electric sites, many 30amp for transit campers where the 50amps are at seasonal. The hiking trail needs maintenance but is accomplishable.

There are tent-only sites and one rental cabin which is a new addition. A couple park models and a few seasonal campers could be spruced up or removed to make a better impression. No clubhouse but two pavilions one with kitchen provide a community activity. Likewise the horseshoe pits need some TLC. The ball field has a backdrop but could use some work. There are nice grassy areas to enjoy, playground etc. The office/store is still the old building and should be replaced. The bathhouse is relatively new construction & clean. The driveways have new gravel and were being worked on when time allows. The owners are the only ones keeping things going and they are doing the best they can with what they have. Although the campground is old and still needs more work to make it the best, improvements are ongoing.
